PHILIPPINE PEDIATRIC SOCIETY INC.

PPS is the largest specialty society under the Philippine Medical Association.  The growth of the PPS membership has indeed been phenomenal.  From just over 1000 members in 1987, 2,491 members in 2002, the PPS membership now totals 3,333 as follows: 32 Honorary Fellows, 125 Emeritus Fellows, 777 Fellows, 27 Affiliate Fellows, 2112 Diplomates, 252 Active Members, and 8 Associates Members, hence the compelling need to update our directory.  We owe this to the concerted efforts of all PPS Accredited Hospitals for Pediatric Residency Training under the stewardship of the PPS Hospital Accreditation Board and the PPS Specialty Board.  We now have a total of 102 accredited hospitals, 52 at the National Capitals Region and 50 in the nine PPS Chapters.
