Silkscreen printingis the widely used technique of t-shirtprinting in the Philippines. It comes in various types of materials/ textileink that are used to achieve a particular texture and visual output. This typeof printing do not limit the color of your design and not even choosy of thetextile color. Almost everything is possible, given the correct orderplacement.
Idealfor screen printing are designs for mass distribution/ consumption or bulkorders.
Minimumfor silkscreen printing is 20 pcs with 1-2 color designs such as texts, vectorarts, black and white images and other simple artworks, while designs with upto 4 colors with the same image description has the minimum of 50 pcs.
Fordesigns with complex colors such as photographs of human and nature or anymulti color image, requires 100 pcs as minimum.
Foil and glittered designswith quantities of 20 pcs and above arerecommended for silkscreen printing with a lower price range. However, foil andglittered designs with below 20 pcs are possible using vinyl foils andglittered materials through heat press. But unlike the silkscreen made, itsprice is much higher.
Digital printing or Heat press printing usingtransfer paperson the other hand, isanother method of t-shirt printing in hte Philippines. It does not limit thecolors to be used in your design. It is best for customized small quantityorders with multi color print, even 1 pc order.
