Fibrin 23 is a high performance monofilament Polypropylene fiber specifically developed as a crack control. It reduces the occurrence of plastic shrinkage and settlement cracks while enhancing the surface properties and durability of hardened concrete.
Fibrin 23 can be used as a replacement to crack control steel mesh and temperature bars for at least 50% savings. Significant savings is achieved on roads, pavements and bridges due to longer operating life of the concrete structure. And also savings on wall plastering by eliminating cracks due to shrinkage.
Fibrin 23 are specifically engineered for concrete and are manufactured from man-made materials that can with-stand the long-term alkaline environment of concrete. Synthetic fibers are added to concrete before or during concrete mixing operation. The use of synthetic concrete fibers at typical addition rates does not require any mix design changes.
