Dictations are retrieved from the TASP/FTP/client server, then assigned to the
designated Medical Language Specialist dedicated for the Physician.
Step 2: The
Medical Language Specialist transcribes the voice files on the prescribed
templates. Completed files are submitted to Proof-readers/Editors.
Proof-reader/Editors review the completed transcripts/reports and make the
necessary changes. The batch is then submitted to the Quality Assurance team.
Feedback on changes/corrections is sent to the Medical Transcription team for
review and adjustments.
Step 4: The
Quality Assurance team performs quality checks by random sampling. Feedback is
sent to the proof-readers/editors and transcriptionists.
Completed transcripts are sent back to the client.
