  We, AGSS Trading is an import and export company to support government requirements. The company started supplying the AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) for some basic needs. The company is registered with FDA license CFRR-RIVA-FI/E/W-204589. In line with agricultural supplies, AGSS Trading is an official marketing arm of Green Asia Agri Venture Inc. (a BIOTECH accredited producer and distributor of Bio-N).
  
  Bio-N product is a government owned technology and development of which has been done by the National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (BIOTECH), University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB). It is a recognized microbial inoculant for rice, corn, sugarcane and other high value vegetables.

  What is Bio-N?
  Bio N, Nitrogen Supplement for Rice & Corn, a technology developed at BIOTECH, UP Los Baños, is a microbial-based fertilizer that is a nitrogen supplement for rice, corn, & vegetables. Reduce the cost of inorganic nitrogen fertilizer inputs up to 50%.
  
  Bio-N is an inoculant for rice, corn and other crops like tomatoes, eggplant, sweet pepper, ampalaya and vegetables such as lettuce, and pechay. It contains native bacteria isolated from the roots of the grass talahib (Saccharum spontaneum L.) which can convert atmospheric nitrogen into a form usable by plants. The bacteria enhances root development, growth and yield of the crops. Bio-N comes in a handy 200 g packet meant for either seed inoculation, root inoculation or soil inoculation. Bio-N complements if not substitutes for 30-75% required inorganic fertilizer input depending on cultural practices and fertilization scheme for the particular farm area.

  Precaution: Avoid direct contact of Bio N with inorganic or chemical fertilizers and avoid exposure to high temperature and direct sunlight
  Limitation: It is still necessary to apply 50% nitrogen

  Corn - 5 to 6 packs/ha

  How to use Bio N for Corn?

  1. One packet is good for 3-kg seeds in a container, moisten with water and put enough amount of Bio N.
  
  2. Mix thoroughly until the seeds are evenly coated.
  
  3. Sow coated seeds immediately. Do not expose to sunlight.

  How to use Bio N for Rice?

  A. As solid inoculant for direct-seeded rice or for sowing on dapog bed.
  
  1. Pre-germinate the seeds in gunny sacks or suitable container. When radicles come out, place the seeds/germinants in suitable container.
  
  2. Pour the required amount of Bio N. Make sure that all germinants are evenly coated. Sow directly on field or on prepared beds.
  B. As liquid inoculant for a dapog bed
  
  Mix Bio N in a sufficient volume of clean water and evenly drench the seed/seeding-lined dapog beds.
  C. As slurry for transplant seedling
  
  1. In a container, mix Bio N with water to form a slurry.
  
  2. Prune the roots of seedlings and dip for at least 30 minutes or 1 hour. Transplant
